All of the beechwood rings are made from natural wood. Since wood is a natural item there can be variations in the wood that could lead to cracking if improperly handled.  Never put any wooden items in the dishwasher, submerge in water or the freezer. Please inspect all the items before any use and discard if any breaks or cracks are seen.
